Accelerate

The Accelerate class was launched mid-2019. A process invites students to undergo an application process to be selected for the work-skills focused, vertically grouped class. Students from Years 8-10 can participate in this class. All core lessons are delivered by one teacher, with an inquiry / project-based curriculum. Students participating in the class must have a clear direction for a future career, and develop a highly individualised plan in conjunction with the teacher, to expose students to their chosen career. Students undertake work placements and are visited by a range of guests from local industry. Accelerate also benefit from our strong relationship with the Beacon Foundation. Students in Year 10 are encouraged and supported to engage in Australian School Based Apprenticeships (ASBAs)
