SJFLC offers an inclusive and non-discriminating learning community to young people, who for a variety of reasons, are disenfranchised from mainstream education. Young people are enrolled from a variety of genders, sexualities, language, cultural and religious backgrounds, with particular sensitivity to indigenous culture and from backgrounds of socio-economic disadvantage. In year levels 7-10, an integrated learning approach is applied and utilises the capabilities and five key domains from the Victorian Curriculum. Young people enrolled in Senior School participate in the accredited Victorian Certificate of Education (VCAL). In addition, young people also participate in Vocational Education and Training (VET) opportunities which provide meaningful work experiences to equip our young people with the skills they will require as they transition into further study or work pathways. This campus has Be You Mental Health programs and the Koori Culture Class (KCC) which aims to deliver a culturally appropriate curriculum to young people who are interested in discovering more about their cultural identity.Structure: Separate Unit or SchoolAddress: 131 Torquay Road, Grovedale

GFLC offers one of very few options available in regional WA for young people who have been disengaged from mainstream education. The school works closely with many government and non-government agencies which have an interest in supporting positive outcomes for youth. Some include, Youth Justice, Department of Community Services, Headspace, and Geraldton Foodbank. The curriculum is delivered with the guidance of negotiated Individual Learning Plans. These plans are developed by the teacher and youth worker, in consultation with the young person and their families. There are 5 student programs; Immersion (years 7&8), Project (years 9&10), Senior Transition (Yr 11&12), Mobile Engagement Program (MEP) and Specialist programs.Structure: Separate Unit or SchoolAddress: 15 Bayly Street
