Redfern Jarjum College

The Company’s mission is to educate urban Aboriginal children who are not participating or coping in mainstream primary schools as a result of their poverty and domestic circumstances. It serves boys and girls aged between 4 and 13 from Kindergarten to Year 6 and fees will not be charged for tuition. The aims are among other things, alleviate the social, emotional, behavioural and health disadvantages of Aboriginal children so that they can return to mainstream schooling, and to provide opportunities for them to pursue secondary education.
