Croydon Community School

Croydon CS is a stand-alone co-educational government school for young people in years 7-12. It is situated in the outer east of Melbourne and students travel from a wide geographical area to attend. Croydon CS operates as a Big Picture School, focussed on ‘One student at a time in a community of learners’. The program is passion/interest based and students write their learning plans with teachers and parents/carers each term. Student progress is mapped as growth rather than attainment as a motivator for all students to strive. The school focuses on Relationships, Relevance, and Rigor, with relationships being the key.
Demand for places in the school is extremely high, and it is not been possible to respond to all requests for enrollment within our structures, philosophy of personal learning, and limited facilities.
