The community college is an educational hub and home to family of training and educational programs.

Our programs cater for the needs and interests of young people secondary school students in years 9-12, the general community, third age learners, and adults with a disability in supported employment, training and lifestyle activities.

ET Australia Secondary College (ETASC) is an independent high school (Years 7 to 12) that equips students with the literacy and numeracy skills to be successful in employment and/or further study by delivering the mainstream curriculum in a safe and supportive learning environment.

Celebrate Learning is a 3 day/week alternative to school that re-engages youth mentally and socially through fun, flexibility and friendship building activities. We provide engaging electives, study support and a welcoming community to inspire and encourage teens on their journey of self-discovery. While being encouraged by our great team to participate in activities, teens can opt out anytime to focus on their personal interests and priorities. This freedom helps teens to develop self-confidence, self-direction and self-care. Our priority is helping disengaged highschool students struggling with test anxiety, academic burnout, ADHD, bullying or general disinterest in schoolwork. We help them re-engage through fun, social learning and goal focussed mentoring.

Croydon Community School is a stand-alone co-educational government school for young people in years 7-12 who are seeking an alternative school program. It is situated in the outer east of Melbourne and students travel from a wide geographical area to attend. Croydon Community School operates as a Big Picture School, and respectful relationships are a core element of the school, along with rigorous and relevant learning.

The David Scott School supports young people to reconnect them to their education, their communities and their futures. We achieve this through operationalising an approach that places each student in the centre of their school experience, as active agents in decisions about their education, as collaborators in their learning and as designers of their future.

The philosophy of Horizons College of Learning and Enrichment is based on the recognition that all young people deserve a positive educational experience, one which will motivate and inspire them to reach their full potential. The College is committed to assisting, in particular, those young people for whom mainstream education is not meaningful and to improving educational outcomes for all students, including those from low socio-economic backgrounds and indigenous youth. Students are within small classes and undertake personalised learning with high-quality vocational education and training.

Holy Spirit College is a unique environment being the first Catholic school of its kind in Far North Queensland; we provide individual education for disengaged secondary aged young people. The mentors offer a wide range of project based learning and core subjects.

The campus offers programs for day and boarding. The boarders have a choice of being in residence on a full-time or weekly basis. The purpose of weekly boarding is to allow young people the opportunity to concentrate on their learning and develop friendships during the week, while keeping in close contact with their families and communities on weekends. Also, weekly boarding appeals especially to young people who wish to join a school but who live too far away to be day pupils.

At Prace College, we expose our students to a variety of industries through work placements, projects, career quizzes, Real Industry Job Interviews (RIJI) and trade tasters. Student support is achieved through informal conversations with the student about current hobbies, past interests and future dreams. And, our teachers also play a role in helping to guide students in deciding on potential pathways when they leave PRACE College. Over time, student insights are collated in a Career Action Plan – a roadmap for the student to follow as they start looking towards a future career.

The Bendigo Flexible Learning Option (BFLO) is administered by Weeroona College Bendigo on behalf of the five Bendigo Government Secondary Colleges and Kalianna Special School. BFLO provides specialised support to secondary school-aged youth, who are enrolled in one of Bendigo’s government secondary schools, but are at risk of not completing schooling. BFLO supports these students to get back on-track with schooling.
