The Adventure Academy, located at The Bay campus, is a unique and highly individualised program which gives students exciting and innovative opportunities to learn outside of the traditional classroom environment. Students challenge themselves and build their leadership skills and qualities in a range of outdoor adventure activities that include wilderness camps, treks, sailing, and canoeing.

The D.A.L.E Program started in 1997 for disadvantaged and ‘at risk’ young people with the establishment of the D.A.L.E Christian School. D.A.L.E. is a Dynamic Alternative Learning Environment for students in Years 5-10 who have an Autism Spectrum Disorder, social and emotional difficulties or a mild intellectual disability. The school offers students the opportunity to gain their RoSA. The educational program is based on individual needs and focuses on building on the strengths and talents of each student. On entry into the program the student will be assessed by staff to ascertain their ability level. An Individual Plan involving the input of the student, parent(s) / caregiver(s), agency representatives and staff is developed and regularly reviewed for each student.

Ipswich Flexible Learning Centre (IFLC) is an educational space that aims to respond to and support the needs of young people who experience complexities in their lives to continue their journey in education. IFLC is a secondary school that caters for young people in years 7 to 12 from Ipswich and surrounding areas.
Learning groups are small with a focus on literacy and numeracy skills embedded in young person directed and negotiated curriculum. It provides numerous educational opportunities, those from the Australian curriculum and Cert qualifications in the arts industry. The school offers life and social skills through adventure based learning and school camps.
The Outreach programme offered opportunities to build trusting relationships and educational pathways for young people of Ipswich wanting to engage in flexible learning choices.
