Deception Bay campus caters for students from years 7 to 12. Junior and Senior program QCE also VET, TAFE, Cert courses and school based traineeships. The Adventure Academy, located at The Bay campus, is a unique and highly individualised program which gives students exciting and innovative opportunities to learn outside of the traditional classroom environment. Students challenge themselves and build their leadership skills and qualities in a range of outdoor adventure activities that include wilderness camps, treks, sailing, and canoeing.

Inala FLC is a visible learning community that strives to offer young people the most appropriate pedagogical framework for each young person.

The school provides a number of learning and co-curricular choices with special attention given to Numeracy, Literacy, Key Learning Areas such as Science, embedded within other studies of Society and the Environment and Sport and Recreation. In our Senior School we offer both QCE and VET subjects and it is the goal of many within our community to complete their Year 12 Queensland Certificates of Education and/or VET Certificates.

The program provides developmentally responsive personalised learning and pathway planning with a focus on the development of literacy, numeracy and social development, pursuing student’s interests.

Oakwood School has a partnership with Cardinia Shire and conducts classes in their community space at Pakenham, “My Place.”  Many agencies also share the space giving our students a one-stop shop for accessing information and support.

The D.A.L.E Program started in 1997 for disadvantaged and ‘at risk’ young people with the establishment of the D.A.L.E Christian School. D.A.L.E. is a Dynamic Alternative Learning Environment for students in Years 5-10 who have an Autism Spectrum Disorder, social and emotional difficulties or a mild intellectual disability. The school offers students the opportunity to gain their RoSA. The educational program is based on individual needs and focuses on building on the strengths and talents of each student. On entry into the program the student will be assessed by staff to ascertain their ability level. An Individual Plan involving the input of the student, parent(s) / caregiver(s), agency representatives and staff is developed and regularly reviewed for each student.

Girls only school years 7-12. Carinity provides flexible learning within an independent christian school environment. Each grade has small classes that have a youth worker in and out of the classroom, trauma informed trained teachers, case management.

St Laurence Flexible Learning Centre (SLFLC) seeks to respond to the needs of young people (Grade 9 and 10 students) by providing a place and opportunity for young people to re-engage in a suitable, flexible learning environment.

SLFLC delivers the NESA curriculum and a Work Ready program which includes a range of Vocational Education & Training (VET) courses.

The aim of the Deception Bay Flexible Learning Centre is to respond to the complex needs of disenfranchised young people who have been marginalised from mainstream education. Deception Bay Flexible Learning Centre (DBFLC) is a place young people can come if you want to finish your secondary schooling in a friendly, supportive, fun and flexible environment.

Students, in conjunction with their teachers, youth workers and education support workers, discuss career aspirations and draft learning plans with articulated pathways to further education and/or vocational education and training.

Ipswich Flexible Learning Centre (IFLC) is an educational space that aims to respond to and support the needs of young people who experience complexities in their lives to continue their journey in education. IFLC is a secondary school that caters for young people in years 7 to 12 from Ipswich and surrounding areas.

Learning groups are small with a focus on literacy and numeracy skills embedded in young person directed and negotiated curriculum. It provides numerous educational opportunities, those from the Australian curriculum and Cert qualifications in the arts industry. The school offers life and social skills through adventure based learning and school camps.

The Outreach programme offered opportunities to build trusting relationships and educational pathways for young people of Ipswich wanting to engage in flexible learning choices.
