The program is a tiered re-engagement program for 12-16 year olds wanting to return to school. The first tier is 1:1 tutorials with an Advisor, tier 2 is small groups, tier 3 is an Advisory class and tier 4 is pathways to other schools or education programs. Students must have been absent from attending any school for an extended period
Youth Futures Community School provides disengaged young people aged 15-19 with an alternative to traditional high school. The school is suited to young people who are ready for a more structured classroom environment and has a larger focus on curriculum than our Anchor Point program. ICAN provides students access to individual case management services, life skills training, literacy and numeracy support, e-learning opportunities and flexible learning programs in school and /or community.
The D.A.L.E Program started in 1997 for disadvantaged and ‘at risk’ young people with the establishment of the D.A.L.E Christian School. D.A.L.E. is a Dynamic Alternative Learning Environment for students in Years 5 – 10 who have an Autism Spectrum Disorder, social and emotional difficulties or a mild intellectual disability. The school offers students the opportunity to gain their RoSA.
