ReadySkills is an organisation that introduces its students to foundational concepts for life post school in a low pressure environment. Co-created alongside students and ran by engaging facilitators who are acutely familiar with the challenges around navigating the transition to adulthood, this program builds fundamental skills that are vital for their future.

We offer three different programs within our organisation. They cover practical life skills which include but are not limited to, changing a tire, basic automotive maintenance, nutrition and health, resume writing and careers, first aid and home maintenance. All of our programs are completely flexible to meet the learning needs of the students and are designed to re-engage students who may struggle with a traditional learning environment. By using tactile and kinesthetic learning styles as well as being able to prove to students the relevancy of the content in their everyday lives, we find increased levels of interest and receive consistent positive feedback from students.

Young Families Connect is a program based on a vision of Education which embraces the needs, hopes and aspirations of young Pregnant and Parenting young people and their children across the state of QLD.
The YFC Program is available for pregnant and parenting young people under 24 years of age. It provides links with external agencies for local advocacy and support whilst offering flexible curriculum delivery leading to the completion of a Queensland Certificate of Education and Certified Competency-Based Training. Educational pathway plans and additional supports are uniquely designed for each student in addition to the opportunities to young parents locally.
Regardless of location or circumstances, all young pregnant and parenting people have the opportunity to succeed through the YFC Program. Students will develop the necessary skills and personal capabilities needed to become employable, thereby assisting students to become financially independent.

Katherine Flexible Learning and Engagement Centre (KFLEC) is an annex of the Katherine High School located in Katherine South.
KFLEC offers a tailored curriculum that focuses on the individual needs of students experiencing a range of vulnerabilities or additional needs.
KFLEC focuses on preparing students for re-engagement with mainstream education or entry into the workforce through apprenticeship, traineeship and certificate courses.
KFLEC contributes to the delivery of Katherine High School’s commitment to every person, every opportunity by providing literacy, numeracy and social supports to students with additional needs.

Fairbridge College is an independent school that specializes in working with adolescents in years 7-12 who have difficulty achieving success in mainstream education and are at risk of disengaging with school. We use trauma-informed practice to help young people achieve their goals and create pathways for their future.

Earnshaw State College is a P-12 Independent Public School. Earnshaw State College offers student-centred learning in its delivery of the Australian Curriculum, providing strong foundations in the early years and building academic skill and rigor in the upper primary and secondary years. The following vocational education courses either internally or through an external party are offered to their senior students.

Earnshaw State College (RTO 30088) currently offers nationally recognised training in the following vocational education courses:

• BSB30220 Certificate III in Entrepreneurship and New Business
• FSK20119 Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathway.

Earnshaw State College offers the following vocational education courses in third party RTO arrangements with the RTOs listed:

• SIS30115 Certificate III in Sport and Recreation
• ICT30120 Certificate III in Information Technology
• SIS20319 Certificate II in Sport Coaching.
